I am an avid supporter of adaptive reuse. We encourage our clients wherever possible to give serious consideration to re-purpose existing buildings. With thorough and diligent verification of existing conditions and systems such as super-structure, utility infrastructure, conveyance, etc along with proper qualification of their adaptability to the proposed new program significant project cost savings and schedule benefits can be realized.
